02. Adventure in Its Core
Geometry
A chromium-molybdenum steel trellis frame uses the engine as a stressed member, keeping the bike light and compact with precise feedback.
Bodywork
The fuel tank gives a range of over 400km and carries the fuel low for better handling, while its shape shields the rider's feet from dirt and spray.
Offroad Wheels
21-inch front and 18-inch rear wire-spoked wheels with tubeless aluminium rims, fitted with Pirelli Scorpion Rally STR tyres.
Subframe
A steel trellis rear subframe is strong enough to carry a passenger and luggage.
LED Lights
An integrated LED headlight with a daytime running light ring, standard fog lights and LED indicators, styled after Husqvarna Factory Racing rally machines.
Windshield
An optional higher screen is available for extra wind and weather protection.
03. Trustworthy Equipment
Suspension
WP APEX 43mm forks with 220mm travel and a WP APEX rear shock with 215mm travel, both adjustable for compression, rebound and preload.
Engine
An 889cc liquid-cooled, DOHC parallel twin with balancer shafts and ride-by-wire, producing 77kW (105hp) at 8,000rpm and 100Nm of torque at 6,500rpm. Service intervals are 15,000km.
Brakes
J.Juan brakes with cornering-sensitive Bosch ABS. Up front are twin 320mm floating discs with four-piston radial calipers, and at the rear a 260mm disc with a two-piston caliper.
Steering Damper
The frame has provision for a high-performance adjustable offroad steering damper, keeping the bike stable over harsh surfaces and bumps.
Clutch
The PASC power assist slipper clutch reduces the effort needed at the lever.
Gearbox
A 6-speed sequential gearbox with short shift travel, the Easy Shift quickshifter as standard, and glass-bead-blasted 4th, 5th and 6th gear teeth.
04. State of the Art Componentry
Ride Modes
Street, Rain and Offroad presets adjust throttle response, traction control, ABS and peak power, while Explorer mode gives full custom control.
Easy Shift
An up and down quickshifter for the 6-speed gearbox, with the ECU matching engine parameters for smooth, clutchless shifts.
Offroad ABS
Disables rear ABS, reduces front ABS intervention and removes the lean angle sensor from the calculations for better control on loose surfaces.
Cruise Control
Set from the handlebar switches. Comfort is helped further by a height-adjustable two-piece seat and a tapered aluminium handlebar with six mounting positions and 30mm of front-to-rear adjustment.
MTC
Lean-angle-sensitive cornering traction control with nine slip levels in Explorer mode, plus front wheel lift control. It can be switched off completely.
Ride by Wire
Electronic throttle control means there's no throttle cable to maintain or adjust.
05. Prepare Your Adventure
Connectivity
The optional Connectivity Unit pairs with the Ride Husqvarna Motorcycles app for Android and iOS, showing Bluetooth Turn-by-Turn+ navigation on the 5-inch TFT display. Maps can be downloaded for offline use, with up to 128 route waypoints.
Apparel
