Honda's 2027 Off-Road Range Arrives at Craigs Motorcycles

Honda has revealed its biggest off-road update in a decade, headlined by an all-new CRF450R developed with HRC factory racing input. The redesigned 2027 range spans motocross, cross-country and dual-sport, with the flagship CRF450R, CRF450RX and dual-sport CRF450RL all arriving through the second half of 2026.
CRF450R & CRF250R
The CRF450R gets Honda's most significant overhaul in a decade for 2027, with an all-new engine and chassis built with direct input from HRC's factory racing programme. The intake and exhaust have been redesigned alongside updated frame and suspension geometry, aimed at sharper handling and reduced weight.
A CRF450R HRC Works Edition sits above the standard bike, adding exclusive components and factory-inspired styling for riders who want the closest thing to a works machine.
The CRF250R carries suspension revisions and intake/exhaust updates of its own, with an HRC Works Edition variant following later in the year.
CRF450RX & CRF450RL
The CRF450RX takes the same engine and chassis updates into cross-country racing, with revised suspension settings and gearing aimed at tight, technical terrain rather than the stadium motocross focus of the CRF450R. It remains the natural choice for riders competing in extreme and hard enduro events.
For riders who want CRF performance with full road-legal registration, the CRF450RL carries over the updated engine architecture in a dual-sport package, complete with lighting, mirrors and a wider-ratio gearbox suited to mixed on- and off-road riding.
